The United States Geological Survey (USGS) has a comprehensive site about volcanoes and related features such as lava flows, mud flows, landslides, and volcanic rock types. Their photo-glossary contains beautiful photographs of these features and more! Volcano World is a useful and interesting site provided by the University of North Dakota. It contains a variety of images, videos, and information about volcanoes around the world. Check out their teacher’s guide to Hawaiian volcanoes.
