Geoscience Society of New Zealand

GEOSCIENCE SOCIETY OF NEW ZEALAND

The Society encourages the advancement of the geosciences in New Zealand and has more than 900 members, an elected national committee, eight branches and a number of subcommittees and special interest groups. Membership is open to all who are interested in the geosciences. The Society holds a conference in a different part of New Zealand each year, presents annual awards, and publishes a newsletter every four months.

Conferences are usually held at the end of November into early December. Organisation is rotated around the main branch centres. For more information »
