GEOLOGICAL SOCIETY OF NEW ZEALAND
The Geological Society of New Zealand (GSNZ) encourages the advancement of geology in New Zealand. Membership is open to all who are interested in the earth sciences. The Society has more than 700 members, an elected national committee, eight branches and a number of subcommittees and special interest groups. The Society holds a conference in a different part of New Zealand each year, presents annual awards, and publishes a newsletter every four months.
