Conference
The Annual Conference is the highlight of the Society's year. The 2013 GSNZ conference (24-27th November) will be hosted by the Canterbury branch in Christchurch. Pre-conference field trips will be on Sunday the 24th, and single and multi-day post-conference field trips from Thursday the 28th November. More details will be release in late May / early June via the conference website.
Conferences are usually held at the end of November into early December. Organisation is rotated around the main branch centres.
Conference Venues
The following branches/organisations are responsible for hosting the annual conference in the future
- 2012 - University of Waikato
- 2013 - University of Canterbury
- 2014 - Massey University
- 2015 - Victoria University of Wellington
- 2016 - Otago University
- 2017 - University of Auckland
- 2018 - GNS Science
This was agreed by the GSNZ Committee in June 2011.
