WHATIPU GEOLOGY – eroded Early Miocene Waitakere Volcano, moving sands and abandoned sea caves.

Carpool

Carpool leaves at 9.30am from Avondale, outside 5-7 Roberton Rd (just off Great North Rd, 1.3 km from Waterview off-ramp off NW Motorway; $10 donation to driver).

All meet at Whatipu Beach Carpark 10.30am

Postponement

Bring lunch, drink, torch and gear for all weathers.
