GSNZ Auckland branch meeting

In this illustrated talk, Nick will give an update on Zealandia research since his 2015 Hochstetter Lecture. One of the main achievements is the completion of reconnaissance geological mapping of the entire Zealandia continent. Nick will explain how Zealandia's 4000 km long granite backbone was tracked across the region, and describe the pitfalls and pleasures of making a geological map of something so large that is 95% underwater.
