SPRING LOW TIDE ALONG THE HERNE BAY COAST

Come explore a coastline of Waitemata Sandstone and helicopter pads on a 0.3 m low tide (2.30pm).

Meet at Herne Bay Beach, access from north end of Herne Bay Rd at 12.30pm.

If weather is looking bad, please ring Bruce at 11am (ph: 09 523 1667) for possible postponement.

Difficulty ranking: Moderately easy.

Bring footwear for soft wet slightly muddy sand up to 5 cm deep.
